Indeed, one of the most famous vineyards in the Pfalz region. In the 20th century the core – documented in 1810 – was enlarged by the sites “Kirchenstück” and “Horn”, as well as the land parcel “Nil”, which gives our estate the name.

Our Riesling and Pinot Noir grapes prosper on 3.5 ha. The vineyard is grown on a south slope and the solid soil structure helps to keep the water storage potential on its maximum.

The clay and limestone marl soil of the site Saumagen yields a strong and clearly structured grape with a slight fruity note.
